This page explains what thefaulkneract.com collects, why, and the choices you have. The site is a nonpartisan civic education project about how Trenton’s government works.

What we collect

• When you sign up for updates: your email address, plus your first name and ZIP code if you choose to share them, and the date you signed up.
• When you visit: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, the site that sent you, your country and device type. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for a short time to keep the site secure.

How we use it

• To send you updates from this project: new videos, plain answers about Trenton’s government, and election reminders.
• To understand which Trenton neighborhoods we are reaching, using ZIP codes in aggregate.
• To keep the site running and secure.

Who sees it

Your information stays with this project. The small team that runs the site can see signups, and a few service providers handle it only to run the site: Railway (hosting and database), Resend (email delivery) and Cloudflare (network and analytics). We never sell or rent your information.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email, or reply “unsubscribe”.
• To see, correct or delete your information, email [email protected] and we will take care of it within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or the project ends, whichever comes first. Unsubscribed addresses are kept only as a do-not-email record.

Children

This site is meant for Trenton residents and voters. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
